Dear sir or madam,
I am writing to you on behalf of Green Pepper, a seven year old quarterly social justice and environmental magazine. Please see below for a more in-depth background of the magazine and view our website. We circulate internationally from our base in Amsterdam, and are interested in finding a distributor in your region of the world. Please send us an explanation of your criteria for distribution.
Thank you,
Amy Rothman
The Greenpepper (http://www.greenpeppermagazine.org) is a quarterly social justice magazine focusing on direct and autonomous action. Historically, the magazine originated in the early 1990's from within the European Youth For Action (EYFA) network with a strong environmental focus. Since then it has become a project relatively independent of EYFA - recently producing issues on Borders, Water, Redefining Terrorism, Environmental Racism as well as our most recent and critically acclaimed issue on the information society. With the Greenpepper this year we are focussing on autonomous activity in various areas of political relevance. We are also putting an equal importance on the visual language (design) of magazine as the written language.
The first issue that we will produce will be on Precarity, work and immaterial labour with guest visual and written editors joining us from the Chain Workers collective (http://www.euromayday.org), Milan. Following the Work issue we have Stevphen Shukaitis, New York, and Richark Niessen (http://tm-online.nl), Amsterdam, joining us for the Life Beyond the Market issue exploring alternative economic models and ways of organising.
